if you cast your eyes to the right of this post you will notice a couple of things i've added. 2 news feeds (GW2 and ArenaNet blog) as well as a few extra links.

they are easy to get rid of if you hate them, so let me know.

Also... I was thinking of re-doing the design. My options are either to change the colour scheme and picture on this blog, or... to have a dotcom that i could build with wordpress and have our own site... i think i could come up with whatever we want, so let me know what you think.

the third option is just to leave it looking how it is.

The test of time

Wow!!
After 18 months and now 300 posts our guild is still going strong. I was flicking through some old posts today - particularly looking at our (H) menus - and how we were going with titles - last september. We've all plodded along nicely from there, thats for sure...

I have bought a domain name for www.noobzwithattitude.com and well, i can move all of this over if we want to go that way. If not, I've wasted $8 and wont renew it next year. One of the things i can do is clean up the categories and create some tags - so a post like my last one would be under the category "Title's" and maybe have tags like Lightbringer, farming, Xyla Nu... or whatever... So you have 2 ways of searching the blog. We can also add other pages whenever we like, and have other stuff on there too...

I dont have stacks of time right now, but reckon it could be somehing i could pull together over the next few months...

anyways, congrats Noobz - 300 posts!

Hi all,

Just letting you know i have finally done all of the mission for Nightfall and amnow only 5 Masters misisons away from protector of Elona. The last mission is surprisingly easy and is done mainly by monks and casters! (4monks in your party)
Anyway i look forward to getting more done with your help.
If can assist anyone who needs some tanking to be done, let me know.

Am I posting useless crap, no one is interested in? If so, I'll cut it back.
My comments about the labels, were simply because it does create issues with functionality. If you're only going to post with the labels the way they've been - keep them that way - its more important to have a blog going, than have a clean blog going - if people are not going to use it.

i'm a little sick of comments not being posted though. It would be good if we acknowledge each others posts more often than not... yeah?

thats all... please us this - we've been going great guns - i'd hate for a dialectic between anal retentive attitudes and a "I'll take my bat all ball and go home"ness, to stop it.

i was trying to reduce these to make it functional, and relevant
if i'm the only one that cares about functionality, then oh well, we'll keep the ridiculous list

i can change the colour from sepia to normal colour or something else if you like
i can change either font reasonably easily also

That puts me out til August 13/14.

I can now confirm that as on that week (August 13 etc) I will no longer be working Monday nights. So... If you would like to make a switch, then that would be the time to do it.

The one thing I really (really) want to do with you guys though is a photo shoot! I think it would be best to go maisa, stamp, xyla and whoever you want caine. It would also be good to get some other screen shots, so i can make up a bit of a banner to go on our front page...

It may well work best to do this in eye of the north?
On that note, just wanted to let you know that Copland and I have now preordered ours. Its $50, thankyou Aussie dollar! I should be able to get a night free (either Friday or Saturday) on the pre-release trial (if its open to Australia) which will be the weekend before its released (24-25 Aug)

Massive Overhaul

Just tried to get a 'quick' game of GW only to face a 7 meg download at startup and 30 meg after sign in.

Clumsiness

One skill I generally equip if I have any attributes in Illusion Magic is Clumsiness. It's a terrific spike for pretty much any of the non casters and is also effective with casters at times - unless they are smart.

I was quite surprised when I discovered the orgin of this skill.

july housekeeping

welcome to this months issue of housekeeping.

1. Want to get a pic of all 4 of us together. I dont mind wich characters we use, its up to you all... I'm happy to go arthinian/spartacus, stamp, maisa, xyla... or cims... up to you? lets do this the next time we are all on together. Maybe we can think about a nice spot for a team photo...? somewhere interesting... whatver you guys think... maybe on the beach, north kryta province? up to you all...

2. On the left hand side of our blog site (about us, links etc) I want to put a photo with a guild-roll. I can do this in photoshop. I just need photos of 2 or 3 (or 4) toons each, and their names and classes. Then we can have pics of the most used characters all there.. I will probably just go for heartcaller and xyla at this stage. It will be designed in such a way to make it easy to modify. Just email me a screen shot of the toon at character select screen... cool?

3. Character Profiles.
I was thinking of doing a full profile for xyla. with weapons, top 5 builds, etc... dont know what this will look like, but i might be able to come up with a template to throw you stuff into... i think it will be cool to have full profiles... thats all...

4. Labels/Categories.
I have noticed that we double up a bit with some of these. Most recently we had 2 labels "exploring status" and "explorer title" i think i will try and clean these up a bit, and get rid of some of the doubles and some of the ones that are rarely used. Its also fine to give a post several labels just put a comma in between them. I dont mind there being more specific labels for posts that commonly occur, like explorer, its more frequent than just going in "titles". cool...

5. Lets use that "this week i want to..." label and throw up some ideas.

6. Copland can you put in a post with the title "wishlist" for a shield for koss. I think it will be remembered better that way. And yeah... anything else anyone wants...?

Im officially Broke

Just bought some good armour for spartacus today which cost me about 9k so i have 150 gold in my storage account. The armour is good so i cant complain. It feels good to have new clothes but sad that it cost so much. The path of a warrior is narrow and costly.
I am sure a little farming and scraping will help ease the pain.
