New Game!

We need a new game, I like Age of Empires but it is too frustrating! I am going to check out Warcraft 3 which I already own (somewhere?). Not sure how much it would be to buy. Ideas?

let me start the ball rolling by saying that I have a small group at my house every other wednesday night, so that's no good for me. Thursday is probably not the best either...

I'm particualrly excited about perks.
you can equip 4 at once (1 which is vehicle specific). These wil help us defien our styles. They range from one that helps you swim faster, to one that lets you climb trees and one which i'm sure i'll use often called "play dead"

whilst a first person shooter would work
i found an MMORTS (Real Time Strategy) that looks interesting.

what are we looking for anyway?

the question is... what is the criteria that will meet our desires for a new game

my thoughts are

• meets all our system requirements
• can play together (with each other) or cooperatively
• no monthly fees

i'm happy to go for a fps, because the options are so limitted
there's a wiki article here on all known co-op games... the list of pc ones with 4 or more players is not long...

can we all do this?
