Runnaaaaaan....Runaaaaaaaaaaaan!

I Have running fever,

I now make a living in GW by running people from Piken Square to Yaks Bend (proph) for 500 gold each. It takes about 15 minutes in total, although i havent officially timed it, and when i take two passngers and dunkoro i make a plat each run with half at the courthouse. I have run my little warrior but off, it is awesome cause if i get into trouble or lag, i just fight level 4-10 minos. It is awesome.....quicker than farming with henchies and heroes although not any decent drops. Although today i got a Brown dye...yes i know...i have been getting heaps of drops lately.
Anyway...if you prefer to travel in safety take a TANK.
Peace

That's committment

Last night Caine and I made our assult on the Moddock Crevice (Master's Reward). It took us a few goes (maybe 7 or more...) but in the end we got there and it was a sweet, sweet victory.

It reminded me of what GW is all about; putting in the hard yards, tweaking your strategy until you get it just right and working with a mate to get something done that you couldn't do yourself.

Just in case I'm sounding overly sentimental, let me finish with this...

Caine's a bastard, because he got a gold drop and a white dye...and I got nothing!

Future conquests...

Guys it feels a bit like we've hit the wall. After a great start with the cims, we switched to the original characters and had a great time doing missions and bonuses. But we don't seem to have a common goal anymore.

Here's what I propose:

Before Tuesday, identify one area you would like us to help with. Maybe it's a mission you are having trouble with, maybe a skill you'd like to cap. Maybe even an area you'd like to scrape but can't get there without dying. Even though we might have already done that mission/capped that skill/scraped the area, we help out. I reckon that's what being in a guild is about- knowing someone's got your back if you are in a rut.

In my case, I'd like to progress fast through nightfall with Maisa so I can cap skills. I'd also like to open up more map in the shiverpeaks. If we can spend a bit of time (45-60 min??) helping me out the next time we are on that'd be great.

Caine would of course be included. Even if he can't join us, we can help him for a while if he needed us.

Of course I'm still happy to play with the cims for poops and giggles.

So... is there something you guys need help with?

Disrupting skills

The bonus to Dragon's Lair is a real bus-turd. It's so annoying to work your way through all 6 bosses, only to get SMACKED at the end. I need to check out some good interrupt skills. Now that I can change my secondary fairly easily, what is a good interrupt skill (besides distracting shot which i have but never seems to work)???

Life Stealing and Copland's Robah's Axe

I was just going to comment, and then realised i had too much to say to fit into that little box. Just responding to Copland's post anyways.

Firstly is a thought on life stealing, an attribute that comes with any weapons that are vampiric.

life stealing gives you health that is taken off the person you are attacking. So it functions like some necro skills, in particular vampiric gaze, vampiric bite and vampiric touch, but on a much smaller scale (mind you it doesnt cost energy to cast).

The best way to get the most out it would be to be able to hit a number of foes at the same time. There is some discussion going on about using a vampiric bow with barrage for example. So... the solution here, to get some pretty serious health regeneration happening, lies in 2 skills. One of these skills is elite, and can only be found in factions so lets not worry too much about that right now (triple chop), the other can be picked up at kamadan - cyclone axe. So, theoretically, you could gain 12 or even 15 health every time you use CA, with a 4 second recharge that's not too bad, and you could use some inspiration magic skills to help you with energy management (only 5 energy a hit, but that will still go fast as a warrior).

Lastly, it goes without saying that you should have a 2nd axe equipped, to hold onto while not attacking, or you'll slowly die - and to be honest, i dont wanna have to be healing your butt every 7 seconds!
